Halloween Costumes.

Seth, once again, was a Pirate, complete with all the facial affectations of a scurvy bilge rat.
(Trick-or-treating a mile in mom's shoes left these little feet rather achy.)

Leslie's own idea: "The Paperbag Princess" from the book by Robert Munsch.

(with our favorite line from said book.
We are making her practice reciting this line, to have ready to use
when future suitors turn out to be scoundrels.)

  2. you should totally send Robert Munsch a copy of the photo! He might send you a autographed copy of the book! (he would often reply with a autographed book if you send him a snail mail). he sent us a book when we wrote him!

  3. He did? Wow! And I was already impressed with him because (besides being a pretty great author) he's one of only only two male playschool teachers I've ever heard existed!

  4. We loved seeing all of you in your costumes! Leslie was definitely my fave, Abby makes us read the Paperbag Princess over and over again, roaring whenever she sees the dragon, shouting up when he has to fly around the world and a triumphant "BUM" when we get to the end. Awesome idea!
